Not so good - mushroom risotto was creamy with a pleasant nutty texture though badly... read more lacking in the key ingredient of mushrooms, duck & orange ravioli had a strange almost powdery taste, lacking in moisture and flavour, the food arrived very quickly (appreciate that there has to be an element of preparationpre cooking though perhaps this was taken a bit too far and affected the qualitytaste).
After both dishes were left half eaten at the end of the meal we had expected to be asked if everything was ok though this did not happen - would have been happy to provide feedback at the time if asked.
Overall, disappointing.

There was a lot of prawns, mussels and clams. I couldn’t fault it. I wish I could have it everyday. I’ll definitely be going back again soon. The food is affordable and it tastes so good.   Very long wait / Overfamiliar waiter in charge of terrasse / Highly disorganized and untrained staff involved in taking orders/laying tables/serving food/producing bill

When looking at the menu and pricing, I thought this was going to be one of them restaurants where you pay a lot and they give you a very small plate that won't fill you up. HOWEVER I was pleasantly surprised when the food came as the portions were VERY generous and very filling! I got the risotto with crema di funghi and it was one of the best, if not THE BEST meal I've had at an Italian restaurant. Service was great throughout, all meals were amazing and their tiramisu (recommended to us by a chef) was AMAZING. I definitely recomment this place.

Our food took (two pizzas, one fish and chips and one swordfish and chips) took 45 minutes to come. It wasnt busy so really no need for such a big delay.

After asking what was taking so long, I was told that all the food is ready but the swordfish is taking longer to grill than expected, did we want the rest of the food now?..... Yes of course! I don't want the rest of the order sitting under a heat lamp!

When the food finally arrived, I cut the fish in half for my 4 year old daughter, I saw that it was completely raw inside. The waiter wholeheartedly agreed, apologized and took the food away. 5 minutes later he returned with the same plate, half of the fish I had just had been thrown back into the fryer. So I had a thin (original) half of cold fish, and a thick (refried) overdone side. I know that kids dont have developed pallets yet, but come one! They could at least have thrown a fresh fish in!

My daughter spilled her drink all over the table, and while the waiter was quick to come over to clean it, he didn't offer a replacement (free or otherwise). With all of the above in mind I would have thought they could offer a complimentary drink, but no.

The rest of the dishes were ok, nothing special but not horrible.

Service needs fixing and the ridiculous wait for food needs to be fixed. I will not be returning.

Oh, and pretty hefty service charge is added to the bill.

  Why would you eat anywhere else - The staff are attentive, the food excellent, the ambiance, you would not know you where in a basement. All in all a fantastic place too eat.

  Great place to go, after a long day at work, we often go there to unwind before we go home. Great hospitality, great services, great food and drink!

I took... read more my family to this beautiful looking restaurant, we were warmly welcomed on our arrival,our food was fabulous, it tasted really fresh and succulent. we got rigatoni with zucchini cream and prawns, my son ate a pizza and believe me it's like eating in Italy and my wife ordered a grilled swordfish she marked it 10 out 10 and she usually difficult to please, the service we received is second to none. we asked for the bill and had no surprises, the discount is been applied. i asked the manager about the reviews I read, because I was afraid I didn't get the discount. he kindly explained to me, that the dine out offer scheme can only be done by booking in advance as using fresh food, fresh fish, fresh meat on a daily basis homemade pizza. if you do not book, it becomes difficult to organize the staff and ordering the fresh produce.after all we had fantastic time out and we will return in future to pay the full price, thanks also to Boris for paying half of our bill.
