Stopped here for dinner with my Dad after spending the day sightseeing & lots of walking. The staff were really friendly but not intrusive. We shared the cheesy garlic bread... read more which was clearly not from the freezer. I had the carbonara & it was delicious. The pancetta wasn't at all fatty, pasta perfectly cooked & just the right amount of sauce. My Dad had the aubergine rigatoni (he isn't vegetarian but just liked the sound of it) Again he said the pasta was perfectly cooked, plenty of aubergine & full of flavour. We both said it was obvious the food was homemade unlike many Italian chain restaurants. They took us downstairs to show us the restaurant inside & it was beautiful. Definitely recommend & really hope they will be able to survive through the current lockdown situation.

Visited with... read more my wife and little boy. Very welcoming, engaging and entertaining host from the start of ordering to the very end. All staff were very quick with requests and food was brought out as it was made. The flavours were just as I would expect from a very good Italian eatery. First visit here, will most certainly visit again. Lots of gluten free alternatives.

All in all, a very nice restaurant which we would use again.

The staff were very friendly, the food was good and it was great to be... read more able to sit outside to eat in November time (under a heater and covered with a blanket), very cosy. I haven't eaten inside yet but would definitely go back to eat in the outside area again. We mentioned that we didn't have much time so they were extremely quick with serving us too.
