  We chose this restaurant and saw it had the Government Help Out signs all about. Starter was fine. Mains were rather boring. When it came to the bill they hilariously... read more added a 12% service charge and questioned the bill with the manager and ended up having an argument and he made up some rubbish about having to book first to obtain the government website which is not the deal and not part of the government guidelines which you can be reported for via the HMRC website. Most of the 5 star reviews here are by people with 1 review only which is questionable. I will now do my research before I go out so I don't get caught out like we and it appears many others did this week by this rude operation. They removed the service charge after it but not an experience I have had before or will want again.

I couldn't fault... read more it.The location is great and sometimes there is music close by. I always dine outdoors. I am a relaxed patient person and like to absorb everthing when I eat out. The manager is abliging and friendly. They have heaters out side and you have a choice open air or under cover. Quite accomodating. I also had complementary bread and olive oil. Nice touch. I will continue to dine here forsure.
